☀️ Summer means sunshine, fun… and fleas & ticks! ☀️

The sun is hot; we are in warmer months which makes this a peak season for fleas and ticks. Heat and humidity speed up their breeding cycle, so infestations can happen very quickly.

Dogs spend more time outside. Walks🐕, beaches⛱️, parks, backyards, hiking 🏕,
and playing in grass all increase exposure to these parasites.

‼️Ticks can transmit dangerous diseases and may carry illnesses that affect both pets and humans. Fleas can cause severe itching, skin infections, allergies, and even tapeworms. ‼️
