One thing about Goat-Skin & Glory that makes it special is that the album was built the traditional way with live musicians, live instruments, and real performances. Every groove, every rhythm, every note was played by talented musicians who helped bring this vision to life.

Footwork is one of my favorite examples of that approach.

When we was creating it, We wanted to capture the energy and spirit of classic Bahamian music while giving it a fresh, modern sound. The dynamics were intentionally crafted to pay homage to the unmistakable musical flavors of legends like Carl "Flash" Rodgers and Ronnie Butler artists whose music helped shape our culture.

From the live horns and percussion to the rhythm section and vocal arrangements, every layer was designed to make you feel something. Qpid didn't just want you to hear the music, he wanted you to move to it, to absorb the feeling of it.
