Friends of the Environment has partnered with Cherokee Sound Primary for their "Conch in the classroom" initiative! An aquarium and two juvenile conchs were donated as pets to our school in an effort to teach students about conch conservation.

Students learned about conch and how to properly and safely take care of the juvenile conchs and how to measure and feed the conch.

It was very exciting and informative. We gladly welcome our new pets, "Gary" and "Dory" !
