Pozyx positioning
Optimize efficiency and productivity by tracking assets, equipment, or people with Pozyx indoor posi
Pozyx positions everything indoors in XYZ with unprecedented accuracy by delivering real-time location systems (RTLS) based on ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. The Pozyx System is robust for industrial use and easy to integrate.
Not every tracking problem needs 10-centimeter accuracy. So why pay for it everywhere?
Video three in our RTLS in Plain English series covers one of the questions we hear most often: which technology is right for my site? It breaks down the honest version of how real-time location system (RTLS) technology choices actually work.
The short answer is that "most accurate" isn't always the goal. "Accurate enough, where it counts" is.
The word "accurate" means different things depending on who is selling you a system.
Here's a quick, easy-to-understand explanation of what "10cm accuracy" actually means.

🚀 We’re hiring: Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer
At Pozyx, we build hardware that needs to do a lot with very little: from ultra-low-power asset trackers running for years on a battery to advanced industrial devices combining UWB, BLE, Wi-Fi and edge processing.
We’re looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team in Ghent and help shape the firmware behind our next generation of positioning and IoT products.
You’ll work hands-on with:
🔹 ARM Cortex devices & C/C++
🔹 RTOS-based systems
🔹 Low-power optimization
🔹 Hardware bring-up & debugging
🔹 Wireless technologies such as UWB and BLE
🔹 A multidisciplinary team of firmware, hardware, software and algorithm engineers
And just as importantly: you’ll join a team of smart, highly skilled engineers who genuinely enjoy working together. The atmosphere is informal, friendly and easy-going, with office lunches, running, board games, puzzles and plenty of fun in between the serious engineering.
If you enjoy working close to the hardware and seeing your code end up in real industrial products, we’d love to hear from you.

If you're new to real-time location systems (RTLS), we know it can seem a bit daunting at first and that's exactly why we created our "RTLS in Plain English" series. Here we break down RTLS technology into short, 30 to 60 second, easy-to-digest explanations.
First up, GPS vs. UWB.
More coming soon.
Omlox hub: connect all your location data from every system, every vendor, into one unified stream.
In this clip, Pozyx CTO Samuel Van de Velde breaks down exactly who the three types of organizations are that the Omlox hub is built for.
From enterprises to solution providers, including teams building apps or large systems like ERP, WMS, or MES platforms, to technology providers, whether they supply real-time location system (RTLS) hardware, GPS trackers, or RFID.
The core idea is to bring data producers, data consumers, and system owners together under one open standard. One source of truth. No walls between systems.
Watch the full clip to hear Samuel explain how each piece fits together.

Over the years, Pozyx has evolved quite a bit.
We started with a strong focus on UWB-based RTLS. And while accurate indoor positioning is still a core part of what we do, our offering has grown into something much broader.
Today, Pozyx is a platform for industrial tracking.
That means bringing together different location and status sources, from UWB, BLE and GPS to vehicle systems, sensors and mobile devices, and turning that into real-time operational intelligence.
We created this bird’s-eye overview to make the bigger picture easier to understand:
How physical operations connect to location technologies, how the Pozyx Platform turns that data into maps, dashboards, rules, alerts and digital twins, and how it integrates with external business systems, automation platforms and industrial applications.
For us, the goal is clear: help industrial companies understand where things are, what is happening, and how operations can run better.
Not just tracking dots on a map.
But building the software layer for smarter industrial operations.

Three new GPS kits, now available in the Pozyx shop.
UWB is still the core of what we do, but not every asset lives indoors and not every operation needs centimeter-level accuracy. Sometimes you need to know where the trailer is in the yard. Or where the pallet ended up after it left the dock. Or whether the bin is sitting idle on the wrong side of the facility.
That's what these kits are built for.
✅ Indoor/Outdoor GPS Kit
✅ Outdoor GPS Kit
✅ GPS/BLE Pallet & Bin Kit
Every kit ships with a Platform License included. Ready to deploy, no quote required.

Day 2 at Automation Xperience in the Netherlands.
As expected, and almost required at an automation exhibition, there were plenty of cobots, AMRs, and even humanoids on display.
The humanoid part was interesting, but also a bit disappointing. There were quite a few of them, yet most were remote-controlled puppets: impressive dance moves, fight moves, and show effects, but not yet the autonomous, useful co-workers many people imagine when they hear “humanoid robot.”
So there is clearly still some way to go.
From our side, we showed automation examples where location data becomes a real-time layer for smarter operations, connecting operators, forklifts, AMRs, and robots in one workflow.
Examples included:
- tracking forklifts and operators in real time
- Scanless ERP transactions using geofencing
- improving safety around moving equipment
- supporting forklift and AGV/AMR coordination with accurate location data
- Location-based signals to tower LEDS, PLC's, and more
For Pozyx, this is where automation becomes really valuable: not only in the robot itself, but in how people, machines, and systems working together.
Great to see the energy around automation here in the Netherlands, and exciting to show how location intelligence can help make it practical.
What if you could anonymize "people tracking" just by handing out random trackers at the start of a shift?
In this clip, our CTO Samuel Van de Velde breaks down one of the smartest design decisions in Omlox Hub: the separation of trackables from the location provider.
That separation unlocks three things most RTLS systems can't do cleanly:
- Swap a tag when the battery dies, without losing the asset's history
- Recycle a tracker through a manufacturing order, then pull it off and reuse it
- Anonymize people tracking, because the tag belongs to a shift, not a person
It's a small architectural choice with big operational consequences.

In two weeks Pozyx will be exhibiting at Automation Xperience for the first time!
Automation Xperience is a trade fair in the Netherlands focused on industrial automation, smart manufacturing, robotics, motion, vision, AI, and digitalisation.
Formerly known as Vision, Robotics & Motion, the fair has been bringing together the Benelux automation industry since 2005 and is now evolving into a more interactive experience format where visitors can discover, test, and experience practical automation solutions.
We'll be there to showcase how our real-time location systems help manufacturers and logistics teams gain live visibility into assets, vehicles, people, and workflows.
Come visit us to discover how location intelligence can support smarter, safer, and more efficient industrial operations.
- When: 17–18 June 2026,
- Where: the Brabanthallen in ’s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands
- Pozyx booth 123
See you at Automation Xperience!
