It is with heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Jonathan Sealy, a respected part-time member of our Social Work Programme faculty at the Barbados Community College. Many of you knew him as Mr. Sealy and will remember him as a gentle and caring mentor who dedicated almost a decade of retirement to teaching and guiding us.

Jon's career spanned many years in Canada, where he worked extensively with First Nation communities before he brought his vast experience and knowledge to our programme. His dedication to social work and education profoundly impacted many lives here, shaping future social workers with his wisdom and compassion.

As we mourn his loss, we celebrate his legacy, inspiring current and future generations. Jon's spirit and teachings remain with us, guiding us to serve with kindness and respect.

They brought joy and a sense of community to the residents of Thelma Vaughan Memorial Home an institution for disabled persons. 🎬✨ Their dedication to making a difference shines as bright as the smiles they brought to many faces. This is more than just a project; it's about building connections, learning about group work, and creating inclusive experiences for everyone.
