Design Landscape Architects

In landscape architecture, there are many spaces where the landscaping itself becomes the star of the experience.

However, in golf resorts, the golf course is usually the primary focal point. The role of landscaping in these environments is therefore slightly different. Rather than competing for attention, the landscape should work to frame, enhance, and support the experience of the course while also contributing to the overall atmosphere of relaxation, luxury, and escape that guests expect from a resort destination.

Here’s how we approached this balance at the beautiful Apes Hill Golf Resort.

A simple idea, brought to life through the details, can completely shape how a space is experienced.

When the interior team’s vision guided the landscape palette, vibrant pink tones flowed from the interiors into the planting design. With architecture, interiors, and landscape all working together, the colours come alive - creating moments that feel playful, energetic, and unforgettable for guests.

10 years ago, DLA was just an idea - a belief that land, when shaped with care and clarity, could become something truly meaningful.

10 years later, that belief has grown into landscapes where people gather, slow down, celebrate, reconnect, and simply feel good being there.

From private villas to resorts and shared spaces across the Caribbean, each project has been an opportunity to design with purpose - honoring the character of the land while creating places that feel effortless, refined, and alive. We’ve always believed that great landscapes don’t just look beautiful - they guide a lifestyle.

The past decade has been shaped by incredible clients, trusted collaborators, and hardworking teams who share our commitment to thoughtful, responsible design. Every site has stretched us. Every challenge has sharpened us. Every completed space reminds us why this work matters so much.

To everyone who has trusted us, supported us, and built alongside us - thank you.

We’re just getting started!
