Oźzy learning to ring the doorbell.
This is a little tougher for such a small dog because it is not just about touching the doorbell but he has to apply force for the bell to ring. A larger breed would simply have to touch the bell and the weight of their paw would sound the bell.
He will learn to apply pressure from a different position next time and the door will open!
Your well on your way!
We want super fast recalls.
This is a 5 month old Doberman who comes in like a bomb.
I love this and then after we still want fast recalls but some precision so they do not take out our knee cap.
One thing at a time! But we will get there.
I do not like to make to many demands on one command. Reward the dog for coming and later we can add additional, like slow down, sit ect. But reward for what you want in the beginning!
Look how far little ozzy has come, we can direct him to his crate from a distance now!
Also Ozzy's bathroom habits have improved soo much , he sleeps in his crate now with no accidents and has started to indicate a t the glass door when he needs to go outside!
We started to work with a door bell today so that he can ring the bell when he needs to go as sometimes where the doorbis located just behind the couch his handler cannot see him there.
Max has been adopted recently. Priya was a little concerned that everything she would stand up he would run away
Although this may have been settled in time it also could become a habit.
Max in my opinion might be a little sensitive to body language and saw this as a threat. Some dogs are like this even though there was no abuse.
Fortunately he loves his stomach so we just helped speed things up with food.
We did a few reps one after another and then let him relax for a good time
The result spoke for itself!
Look at 4 month old poodle Emi bring back the tug rope!
Excellant work handlers!

This is Apollo who is Cana Corsa puppy of 4months who is doing really good in his basic obedience in private in home training classes! We are also dealing with the 2 Rottweilers who live with him and they are 5-6 years old.
The rotties are excelling in obedience because they have better attention.
Remember that you can train older dogs!
