On the 22nd of March 1972, SABA was founded, to care for elderly people. On March 22, 1972 the Foundation was established. Huize Maris Stella in Savaneta.
Within the last decade a shift has been made towards a nursing facility for chronic care. SABA is a nursing home subsidized by the government working according to outcome subsidy principles. The Foundation manages three nursing homes in three different locations:
San Pedro di Verona in Oranjestad. Centro di Cuido in San Nicolas. The clients of the Foundation can be divided into two categories.
