This footage from Fullerton Farms in Elimbah is heartbreaking. With so much rain falling across Queensland, seeing floodwater cover farmland is a reminder of how quickly conditions can change for our growers.
For farming families, these paddocks represent years of work, early starts and care. When the water rises, there’s the worry, the waiting and the uncertainty about what comes next.
To every farming family affected by flooding, we’re thinking of you. Your safety comes first, and we hope the water eases soon.

People come from all around CQ for the floats, the fun and that sweet souvenir to take home. It’s a local tradition that celebrates our town, our farming families and the fruit that helped put Yeppoon on the map! 🚜🌴
