Gratitude post to Daniel, FTBs gardener - we have 5 bird baths which we ensure have water for summer by drippers attatched to retic - over the years we have constantly put rocks on top of the drippers - however the kangaroos and cockatoos often dislodge them - so Daniel did this ❤️

For The Birds taking a holiday - I was lucky enough to find this amazing family restaurant (and they have a boutique hotel above)- the best Turkish food i had while in Istanbul - a For The Birds approved standard pour of wine (small wine well considered list)

Margaret River wines dominate global awards 🍷🍷South West wines won almost a quarter of the awards at the International Wine & Spirits Competition.

Margaret River wineries won nine out of 40 awards

France took out six awards and Spain and Portugal won four each.

The judges tasted 12,000 wines from over 90 countries and Margaret River Wine Association's Amanda Whiteland says they were impressed with what was on offer from the South West.

"We have quietly known that we're doing something pretty special down here in this little corner of the world but to be recognised so significantly on the global stage is fantastic," she says

"The wine industry is doing it a little bit tough in some areas at the momen, so this just really helps spread the word of how good the wines down here really are.”
