Macedon Ranges Tree Service.

Confined space removal of this Eucalyptus sideroxylon that had its roots into services.

Not much of a drop zone with two service wires and low voltage powerline & garden underneath, we like the technical jobs 👌

What a day for it! 🌳☀️
Originally, these pear trees were butchered by a powerline crew.

Around 6 years ago, we developed a management plan that would satisfy our client’s needs while allowing us to retain the trees through formative pollarding management instead of removal.

By reducing and managing the overall height each year , the trees remain within a suitable growing profile achieving powerline clearence whilst providing

✅ ️Shade growth for summer
✅️ Reduced root growth & impact on paths
✅️ Adequate building clearance
✅️ pedestrian clearance
✅️ Improved clearance around car parks
✅️ powerline clearance
✅ ️Reduced leaf litter
✅ ️Reduced chance of breach failure common with species

⚠️ This form of management is not suitable for gums trees (for the loppers 😬🤦‍♂️)

Long-term, structured tree management
A good example of how proactive Arboricultural management can retain established trees while working around infrastructure and safety requirements. 🌳
