Our U18 Div 2 side took to the field for their Semi Final over the weekend but unfortunately it wasn’t their year. After a strong first half and plenty of determination throughout the game the boys gave it their all but couldn’t quite get themselves over the line.

While their finals campaign may have come to an end, this group should be incredibly proud of everything they achieved throughout the season. It has been fantastic to support and watch these young men throughout the year and Werribee Districts is incredibly proud of the effort & commitment they showed.

Round 1 of finals proved to be a tough one for our U18 Div 1 side. These boys gave it everything until the final siren but unfortunately couldn’t come away with the win against Newport. Despite the result, the boys showed plenty of fight keeping Newport to just 1 point in the final quarter and never giving up until the very end.

The finals campaign isn’t over yet! The boys will head into the Semi Final next Sunday with another opportunity to keep their season alive. We know they’ll be ready to go and give it everything once again.
