Our good neighbors, the Wattle Glen Wattle Glen Fire Brigade volunteers are fund raising for a new fire fighting Ute.

Over the past few days, our volunteers have been pounding the pavement and delivering our Fundraising Appeal letters throughout the community ❤️

🚒This appeal will help us continue working towards an Ultra-Light Tanker, giving us greater access to difficult terrain and helping ensure we can keep serving our community when and where we’re needed most🌿🔥

After winning their Autumn Season Grand Final in 2025, the Wattle Glen Women's section 2 team was invited to participate in this years Tennis Victoria League Championships, playing against teams from across Victoria for the title of State Champions. We had a fabulous weekend, playing 3 matches at Royal South Yarra Lawn Tennis Club. The weather was fabulous, tennis was fun and food and drinks (including happy hour) at the clubhouse a highlight. While we didn't walk away as winners this time, we thoroughly enjoyed the well organised event, the venue and meeting like minded players from far and wide.

Thanks to McDonald Diamond Creek, we are now giving out FREE Happy Meal Achievement Awards to players.
This week Sec 21s Esther received an award & Maddy from section 3. Boys Sec 12 Dominic also won an award, much to the disappointment of his teammates.

Our coach was lucky enough to be able to again take 10 kids & parents to the Australian Open on Monday.
The kids were participated in the Kids On Court, hitting on court before the 1st match of the day.
Then were able the spend a great day watching matches & enjoying all the entertainment around.
We were even given some amazing seats to John Cain Arena & to watch world No 6 Jessica Pegula in action & even get her autograph. Scarlet was chosen for the coin toss of the match!
