Are you taking a long weekend this weekend? The team at Madison Sloan Lawyers certainly are!

The Long Weekend is the perfect time to get on top of life admin and finally get around to doing all those little things that we keep putting off.

If it’s been a little while since you have had a look at your Will pull it out and have a read of it to make sure it is still relevant to your current circumstances.

There may have been some changes in your life since you put your Will in place, you may have started a business, put in place trusts or companies, welcomed children or grandchildren to the family, received a inheritance, sold assets, one of your children may have gone through a relationship breakdown or perhaps the people that you appointed as your executor and attorney are no longer the right fit.

You might read through your Will and feel comforted that no changes are required which is great news as you can then tick this life admin task off your list.

If changes are required you can proceed to making these changes giving you peace of mind that your Will has been updated to reflect your current wishes.

Alternatively, you may not have a Will in place, which means there is no better time to put one in place.

You can get started today by heading to our website and completing our Will fact sheet here https://www.madisonsloanlawyers.com.au/services/wills-estate-planning/

If you would like to book in for an estate planning consultation to put your Will and other important documents in place or to update your Will and other important documents please contact us on 9879 or click on this link to book https://calendly.com/melisa-madisonsloanlawyers/30min?month=2026-09

For those having a long weekend - Enjoy!

🏐 Manningham Netball Volunteer of the Year

Behind every successful netball club and competition are volunteers who give their time, energy and expertise to make it all happen.

From the people who arrive early, stay late and organise everything behind the scenes, to those who support players, families and their clubs week after week – we want to recognise the volunteers who make a real difference to our netball community.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 Manningham Netball Volunteer of the Year award.

We’re looking for someone who:
💙 Goes above and beyond for their club or our Association
❤️ Gives generously of their time, energy and resources
💚 Promotes inclusion, fair play and a positive netball environment
🤍 Has made a lasting contribution to our local netball community

Do you know someone who deserves to be recognised?
Nominate a coach, committee member, team manager, volunteer, administrator or anyone else who consistently goes the extra mile for netball at Manningham.

👉 Nominations close Sunday 4 October 2026.

Download the nomination form at https://tinyurl.com/MNAVolunteerAward and forward to [email protected].

The 2026 Volunteer of the Year will be announced and presented at the Manningham Netball Ball on Saturday 14 November 2026.

Did you know our club sponsor Ruffles Burgers X Grill do takeaway too?

We love visiting Harry and his team to dine in or takeaway something yummy from their delicious menu!!

Drop in over the school holidays for breakfast, a coffee, lunch or dinner and say hello 👋
