Science Week at our school!

What a fantastic week of exploring, experimenting and discovering! Our students had a wonderful time getting hands-on with science, asking questions, making observations and having lots of fun along the way

Here are a few highlights from our Science Week celebrations! We’re so proud of our young scientists and their curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm for learning.

Come and experience Prep at Wantirna Primary School at our Step into Prep session on Thursday 10 September, 2:30–3:30pm.
This session is open to all children starting Prep in 2027, you do not need to be enrolled at Wantirna Primary School to attend. It’s a lovely opportunity to visit, experience our school and see what Prep at Wantirna could be like.

📌 They work 12+ hours of UNPAID overtime every single week
📌 A teacher with 30 years experience earns up to $18,000 LESS than their NSW counterpart
📌 Most teachers leave the profession within their first 5 years
📌 500+ schools were closed or disrupted today
📌 98% of union members voted YES to strike action
📌 The government offered 18.5% over 4 years — the union is asking for 35%
📌 Victoria calls itself ‘the education state’ while funding schools $2.4 billion below what was promised.
