Here's a night time Christmas in July update! I do like this time of year so much better for Christmas lights. And it feels more Christmassy now it's cold too - even though I'm from Australia!

Merry Christmas in July! With everybody's individual schedules we don't get a chance to do this very often so we made sure to fit in 'Little Christmas' before July ended.
A few decorations, low key gifts, and a roast turkey meal with some of the trimmings. Such a lovely way to spend a Monday afternoon. Simple, low effort, fun, family time that feels just a little special.
It's almost a shame that Melbourne put on some decent weather so we didn't get the wintery huddled inside kind of feel.

I had an amazing day in Melbourne yesterday with fabulous fellow Stampin' Up! leaders from all over Australia & NZ.
We had some great training, sneak peeks at new products (that I can't share yet), got some lovely Stampin' Up! swag, created a card with the August Paper Pumpkin kit, played some games and had lots of networking and socialising time.
There was also a display of projects that everyone brought along to share.
It was a very much needed full immersion into a crafty world with a bunch of friends, old and new, including my travel buddy Jacinta (https://www.facebook.com/StampingWithJacinta/)

This week we'll be making this card featuring the Relaxing Waterside bundle and the Waterside Retreat papers. There's stamping, die-cutting and tearing but no fussy cutting or colouring this time.
