Another 3 queens & 1 little prince from the 2024 Aurukun ball 🧡🧡

The ball was something the youths in Aurukun wanted so the incredible Norma and her Youth team made it happen 🧡
They did 3 balls in Aurukun before Norma changed jobs . One day we hope to work together on another ball 🧡

The balls were just beautiful with everyone getting to dress up in donated gowns and suits we supplied

It truly was wonderful seeing what we've made here in Logan taken up to Aurukun 🧡🧡

A massive thank you to Community Bank Logan for the donation to purchase hamper baskets and a few extras for each basket for our 2026 Xmas hampers
Community Bank Logan have supported us with baskets for the last 3 years , they know the impact xmas hampers make
Community Bank Logan are such Community givers , I see them at every event, I see them supporting so many in our communities

🎄CHRISTMAS HAMPER APPEAL 2026
For the last 2 years Formally Ever After Qld Inc. have supported 300+ families at Christmas with food hampers and gifts because of all of your beautiful love, kindness and support ❤️💚

This year we are doing something a bit different to our normal
As a very proud member of both Soroptimist International of Beenleigh & Rotary Club of Loganholme we are collaborating with both incredible community groups to bring as much joy as we can this Christmas
Thats 3 groups doing even more amazing things together !!!

I've attached a flyer below with what we need to make our hampers , of course if you think we could use other items you can purchase them too
Think about what would make a family feel a little extra special this Christmas

You could do a donation drive at your workplace , with your friends and family

When I travelled to Aurukun back a few years ago, I was lucky enough to meet some really beautiful ladies 🧡
These 3 had the best time at the Aurukun Pcyc balls 🧡
Was my absolute honour and a real highlight of my life to meet and dress such amazing ladies
What a stunning family 🧡

I've dressed alot of people over the years but Aunty P sitting in the front is one of those people who inspire you long after you've met her 🧡 when Aunty P smiles , you smile instantly

Stunning gowns that were donated by everyday people in our communities to bring joy , hope & love to others 🧡

My hope is one day Ill head back there for another ball & get to outfit the whole town 🧡🧡

Formally Ever After Qld Inc. Is a program designed to support students and individuals who are facing barriers to access formal wear for their formals and special events. We run by receiving donations of recycled formal wear and accessories to gift back to those who need them 🧡🧡

We really need some more costume jewellery, clutches , heels , mens dress shoes , perfumes & aftershaves, black dress shirts , belts , organza bags , shein bags , size 14 + dresses

Please note we don't take everyday clothing unless we are doing a special collection drive
If you have everyday clothing i can direct you to great local organisations that take these items

We had students come out from
- The BUSY School - Salisbury Campus
- Ohana College
- The BUSY School Brisbane City
- Arethusa College Springwood
- St Francis College, Crestmead
- The Centre Education Programme
- Rockhampton Flexible Learning Centre ( staff picked outfits )
We also heard some of our dresses that went last time for Rockhampton Flexi School went to Rockhampton Carinity Education also ( how cool is that )

We had some of the most beautiful students in over the last few days
So much gratitude to everyone who donates to give them access to a program like ours 🧡
Student after student , so respectful and full of thanks . They loved the opportunity to access outfits and accessories 🧡

I had a student tell me they'd never be going to formal if they didn't come here
I also had a mum message me tonight to say her young person came here yesterday and they didn't stop smiling all night with their new outfit, incredible to hear what happened after that young person got home
I had another young person was outfitted in the most gorgeous pink gown tell me their grandma will say how pretty they look - she was so proud of herself 🩷

Plus we had 3 beautiful ladies from an organisation called The Patient Approach they were needing a little community love , hope and support to attend a special event 🧡
We hope they feel absolutely amazing on their night out 🧡

The stunning dress I am holding was tried on 3 times today !!

Back in 2025 I had this beautiful email below sent to me off 2 young students from Stuartholme School
They raised almost $400 !!!!!
How beautiful are the young future leaders from Year 8 Woodstock House 👏👏
With young people like this , our world is in safe hands
This shows such awareness and passion, so proud of all they do for their communities 👏👏👏

This is T and M from Year 8 Stuartholme School in Toowong.
Our Sacred Heart Goal for this year is 'A Social awareness that impels to action'. After discussion, we came across your charitable organisation and decided we would love to raise awareness and funds for your organisation.
We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to experience a memorable formal with makeup, hair, and a beautiful outfit.
We will raise money by selling deconstructed rocky road in a cup during break times for a week.
We believe that these will be very popular here at Stuartholme and that after 6 days of selling them, we will reach our goal. We are requesting your permission to raise funds for your foundation. We hope you like our idea and have a good day!
