I love giving chocolate in my client's gift bags!
One of my client's from last year saved their limited edition Christmas Pristine Images chocolate and recently went to eat it only to find an empty wrapper! 😱
Looks like their cheeky 11 year old son found it months ago 😅
Funny because I literally have to lock these away under lock and key or my 11 year old finds them too!

Many of my clients book a session after a weight loss journey, however they don't wait to be society's idea of 'perfect' they turn up just as they are after having kids, surgeries, loose skin, us real women with scars, veins and have been through all sorts of life challenges.
Perfectly imperfect.
Let's just ditch the word perfect altogether.
These women are absolute legends 🙌

Often they are in their 30s and 40s and in the midst of learning to love and accept themselves as they are.
Now that is sexy!
And even women in their 20s who still feel the brunt of the idealisation of beauty!
It is a great privilege for me to document this celebration and to provide a safe non-judgemental space for their self expression. ❤️🔥💋

Chelsea was invested from the start
We had some great chats on the phone before her family photography session.
I sent out a ‘what to wear’ email with some helpful tips and Chelsea enjoyed putting much thought into the outfits.
By the time the day of the photoshoot arrived I already felt like I knew her and her family well.
They drove from Warragul to work with me 🙌
The kids were great, just how she had described them and her husband also just as lovely.
I did her hair and make-up and she was camera ready!
With what they were wearing with my choice of grey background the photos came up so fresh and modern, perfect to match in with their new home.
The whole family came back from their photo viewing the following week.
The kids had such a great time with me in the studio, when they came back for the viewing they were like “Yay we are doing another photoshoot with Kristen.”
Bless their cotton socks!
I smiled as Chelsea saw the best in the photos, in a true light.. noticing the little things that made them special rather than looking for personal flaws.
These portraits really meant something.
They loved the Trivoli frame, a statement piece to display when friends and family visit for years to come.
She knew exactly where it would go!
This will be gentle daily reminder to the kids of their close family unit, the connection their share together.
The trivoli frame is for those who appreciate the quality things in life, products but really memories the last the test of time. 🫶

A tribute to the men in our lives
Firstly my dad..
We have had our moments over the years and come good, I appreciate our long chats on the phone and the big hugs when we catch up. You're a real Aussie larrikin which instilled a dorkiness in me that I will never shake.
Violet and I moved to Victoria from beautiful Queensland so she had her grandparents in her life, at the time it was not an easy move but here we are country Gippslanders!
Steve Violet's dad is a cherished part of her life.
A dad's presence is so very important and you offer her something different to myself that she needs.
It is important that kids have different influences in their life as it supports them to form their own identity in the early years.
She loves going to your house and spending time with you.
We never speak poorly of each other and it's cute that you told Violet that I am your best friend.
We have good thing going co-parenting, I am grateful that there has never been any drama and it has always been easy.
And lastly Graeme, mum's partner. You're a real gem, so kind and supportive of others. I see you as my step dad and include you as part of the family as if you have always been in our lives.
