It’s always good to hear how equipment is performing once it’s in operation.
Following the installation of two solar-powered NP50 integrated compactors at a regional council site in NSW, we recently received this feedback:
“We’re really happy with the performance of the machine. The swipe-card interface works perfectly, and the machine is doing everything it’s meant to do. We’ve built a good relationship with Waste Initiatives and would be open to collaborating on future projects.”
The self-loading compactors combine solar power with remote fill-level monitoring, providing a practical, self-contained waste compaction solution for regional sites.
Great feedback for our team and, most importantly, a solution doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Ageing equipment is a common reason to consider upgrading waste and recycling machinery, particularly when reliability and performance begin to decline.
A good example is this horizontal baler upgrade for Walcha Council. With their existing cardboard baler deteriorating in condition and performance, our team assessed the facility and supplied a WastePac HX400-38T horizontal baler to support the processing of cardboard and other recyclable materials.
