📚📚BOOK WEEK📚📚
What a week! Lots of costumes, activities,competitions, loads of smiles and even an Art Show.

Book Week commences next Monday 24th August.

**_Book Week Costume Parade_ Tuesday 25th August 9.15am**

As Monday is a student free day we will have our our **annual dress up parade** where children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book or movie character on **Tuesday 25th August at 9.15am on the basketball court (weather permitting) .**

We have been fortunate enough to see some wonderful book characters come to life in previous years and are looking forward to seeing what this year brings. We would love to see as many parents and carers there to share in the fun. Children will participate in a rotation of book related activities for the remainder of this day.

**_Art Gallery Walk_**

We invite Parents, carers and students to enjoy a walk through our school from **3.30-3.45pm on Tuesday 25th August** to take in the wonderful creative works done by our students. This will also give you the chance to see the magical Book Week classroom displays.

**_ Scholastic Book Fair_** Unfortunately we are having to postpone the running of the Scholastic Book Fair next week. We will advise of a new date as soon as we can.@

What a tree-rific time we had today!

We were blessed with wonderful weather and were able to plant a tree and have a cup of tea with our freshly grown herbs from our tea garden here at school. A huge thank you to everyone involved especially Mr Sullivan, Mrs Briggs, Mr Brooking and our grade 6 sustainability leaders. Well done to all the students who showed great co-operation and great listening skills to successfully plant a tree.
