Many of you have called to ask about vaccinations for HPAI H5N1 Avian Influenza.
This is not something that is available at the moment, though there may be developments in the future.
At the moment it is advised to stay safe and proactive by preventing contact between yourself and your birds with wildlife.

"Looking for love: Grain Wave
Despite a rough start to life, Grain Wave (yes, like the chip) has so much love to give!
Grain Wave is super friendly. He loves sitting on your knee, wrestling with your hand, and romancing your foot.
Because he lives for attention, he would do well in a home with at least one lady pigeon looking for love. Or, if brave, a person who would like to be serenaded 24/7 by his boofhead coos.
Grain Wave has been here for 9 months waiting for a home that thinks he’s as cool as he thinks he is.
If you are interested in adopting Grainwave, please fill in our adoption expression of interest form: https://forms.gle/bg2vo2XyGq8hfwUQ7"

Pomfrey's Crop Repair!
Pomfrey came to us after the crop bra she was wearing for her distended crop rubbed through the skin and into the crop wall, causing necrosis and infection.
Over the course of 23 days, Pomfrey underwent two surgeries to debride and repair her crop, as well as the placement of a stomach tube so she could receive nutrition while her crop healed.
She even spent two weekend holidays with one of our nurses to ensure she received the round-the-clock feeding and rehabilitation she needed.
Pomfrey has now been home for a couple of weeks. Although she can't eat as much as a normal chicken because her crop is now much smaller, she's enjoying life again and even gifted her owners with an egg as a little thank you! 🥚❤️
