Hello Everyone - sadly after 13 incredible years, it is time to say Goodbye! This Sunday 20th February will be our last trading day.

We have met thousands of lovely people through this gorgeous business - Customers , Suppliers , Producers , Distributors , Delivery guys , Local Traders and more . Many have become friends and will continue to be so ongoing . Cream at Sassafras has been THE Melbourne Foodies Store - providing a fun and informative pantry experience like no other. Only here could you taste 90% of what we sold or hear amazing stories of the produce and the producers.

We don’t think any of these magnificent hand made mince tarts will make it onto our shelves today - there’s a long list of family and friends. Giving these away reminds me of Mum ❤️ and her mince tarts - a family tradition I am so proud is carried on by her granddaughter Vanessa. God Bless you Mum xx
