“YESTERDAYS MOORING”
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas
182.5 x 121.5

⚓️🩵 FOR SALE 🩵⚓️

Time has worn the small, weathered wooden boat into a beautiful relic of the water. Flaking paint reveals dark, saltwater-soaked timber underneath. Scuffed wooden planks hold coiled, frayed h**p ropes. A lone sea gull taking advantage, gazing out across the salty water.

The jetty tells the story of many seasons spent facing the elements. Thick, crooked wooden posts with sun-bleached planks sitting unevenly, warped by years of shifting tides overlooking a glassy reflective surface that barely ripples with the rhythmic thump-thump of the hull against the wood.

This stunning artwork brings a sense of calm and serenity to any space it adorns. If you can picture it enhancing your wall, feel free to send me a direct message for pricing and additional details. Wishing everyone a fantastic week ahead! 🙌🏻😃🩵🩵

Diving deep into this expansive new project, I find myself captivated by the boat's reflection shimmering on the water. ⚓️🩵 The interplay of light and movement creates a mesmerising scene that inspires creativity and contemplation.

“Weathered by the Sea”
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas
182.5 x 121.8cm

⚓️🩵 FOR SALE 🩵⚓️

The old boat sheds sit like tired sentinels where the sand meets the salty waters. Flaking layers of turquoise paint peeling away from old planks, long surrendered to the sea spray.
Rusted iron bleeding orange streaks down bleached wood siding.
This beautiful piece tells so many stories of the life of these character filled boats alongside the old sheds they gratefully shelter from the ever changing coastal conditions of our foreshores.

It was a true delight creating this piece, now it’s time to find it a forever home. If you’re interested in learning more about this artwork or any of my other pieces, feel free to reach out to me via Direct Message.

Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead! 🩵💙

After taking a break to focus on a commission for a wonderful collector in Tasmania, I'm back in the studio and excited about my latest project. I began this large painting last Friday, and I'm thrilled with its progress. It features those charming little boats that are full of character.
Wishing everyone well! ⚓️🩵

“Transient Wanderer”
121.8 x 183.5cm
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas

⚓️🩵 FOR SALE 🩵⚓️

Old boats possess an enchanting allure, marked by their peeling paint, scratched surfaces, and the rust that hints at their age, each imperfection whispering tales of the past. This particular vessel is a true wanderer, never content to remain in one harbor; it drifts from place to place, occasionally attracting a curious seagull hoping to sn**ch a fisherman’s catch. Whether it’s gliding across the water alongside eager anglers waiting for a bite or providing a serene escape for a solitary soul seeking refuge from the chaos of daily life, this boat embodies the spirit of adventure and the stories that come with it.

Can you envisage this on your wall? If so, just send me a direct message 🙌🏻

Lovely week to you all 🩵⚓️🩵

Slowly bringing this old wooden boat to life. I don’t know why but I love old boats. Maybe it’s the character these old boats ooze indicating a full life of fun on the water 🛟⚓️

This week marks the beginning of a genre I've been eager to explore again for quite some time. My passion for everything related to the shoreline and ocean is well-known among some of you.
This is my first creation in this realm, and it's a beauty. 🙌🏻💛🩵
