Versatility Dance Centre - VDC

Watching children grow in confidence is one of the greatest privileges of what we do. 🤍

Concert day is such a wonderful opportunity for every dancer to celebrate just how far they've come this year.

There is something so special about watching our dancers completely lose themselves in the moment. 🩵

The smiles, the confidence and the pure joy on stage are what concert day is all about.

We’re absolutely thrilled to be named finalists in four categories at the 2026 Australasian Dance Education Awards. 💙🤍🩵

✨ Australian Dance Studio of the Year
✨ Excellence in Leadership
✨ Excellence in Child Safety Practice
✨ Excellence in Marketing & Brand

To be recognised alongside so many incredible dance studios from across Australia and New Zealand is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to our amazing dancers, families and team who make VDC what it is. We can’t wait to celebrate with the other finalists in November and no matter the outcome we’re so proud to be part of this year’s group of finalists!

Thank you Australasian Dance Educators Awards for this wonderful opportunity! 💙

Some of the very best concert memories are made with your dance friends. 🩵

Sharing the stage with the people who have been cheering you on all year makes concert day even more special.

How special is it getting to watch kids grow up at VDC? 🩵

These gorgeous girls have been dancing with us since our very first year, starting out as tiny little Tiny Tots. Watching them grow in confidence, build friendships and continue to love dance has been such a privilege.

And somehow… they’re turning 8 tomorrow. 🥹 Time really does fly.

We love watching the artistry of our older dancers come to life on stage.

These dancers work so hard all year, making concert day such a special opportunity to share everything they've been working on.

Calling all local businesses!

We’re looking for raffle prize donations for our 2026 End of Year Concert.

Our annual raffle helps us continue providing costume hire at no cost to families, supports our scholarship program (both merit and financial hardship), and helps us purchase new costumes, equipment and dancer awards.

In return, we’ll promote your business on our social media and at our concert in front of 700+ audience members.

If you’d like to donate a voucher, product or service, we’d love to hear from you.

Or know a local business that might like to get involved? Tag them below. 💙

One of the sweetest concert moments…

When a dancer spots their grown-up in the audience and can't help but give them the biggest smile and wave. 🥹

School holidays for the dancers… but we’re already getting excited for everything that’s coming in Term 4! 💙🤍

Miss Hannah and admin / receptionist Amy have been spending each afternoon getting ready for a huge few months ahead.

So far that has included stage lighting spreadsheets, class timetables, music editing, concert planning, emails, costumes… and learning our brand new enrolment software ready for 2027 (which has definitely been keeping us on our toes! 😂).

We’re so excited for everything we’ve got planned and can’t wait to welcome everyone back in a couple of weeks.

💬 Just for fun… what do you think takes the longest to organise behind the scenes at a dance studio? 👀
