Watson Young Architects was formed in 2004 by Colin Watson and Adrian Young, based on 18 years of professional experience gained in the industry.
Watson Young Architects is a responsive architectural practice, working collaboratively with our clients to deliver exceptional work, on brief, on time and on budget. We work across a broad spectrum of disciplines including the Industrial, Commercial, Education and Residential sectors, among many others. A great milestone for Free Form Mornington, with the project recently reaching handover.
Designed by Watson Young Architects for Gestalt Property and delivered by Corplex, the precinct brings together 37 flexible warehouse units, a café and landscaped communal spaces, creating a considered industrial development on the Mornington Peninsula.
Our team was pleased to join the project partners at the handover ceremony and celebrate the completion of a project shaped by strong collaboration from concept through to delivery.

Wodonga TAFE Student Services Hub, Building A, is now complete.
Designed by Watson Young Architects, the project transforms the existing building into a flexible, accessible and student-focused environment. The refreshed spaces support diverse learning styles through collaborative study areas, adaptable workspaces and open student services. Natural materials, greenery and filtered daylight create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the student experience.

Walkinshaw Group’s new headquarters at Nexus Dandenong South is now complete.
Spanning 106,825sqm, the facility brings together custom-built warehousing, contemporary office spaces, extensive hardstand areas and dedicated vehicle staging zones. Walkinshaw’s distinctive brand identity is embedded throughout the design, from the chequered metal cladding to integrated logo elements and signature colours.

A significant milestone for Revesby Rise, with our team recently attending the sod turning event to mark the commencement of construction.
Designed for Gateway Capital, Revesby Rise will transform an ageing industrial asset into one of Australia’s largest multi-level logistics developments, delivering more than 54,000sqm of warehouse and office space in Sydney’s southwest.
We look forward to seeing the project continue to take shape as construction progresses.

Designed to support connection, collaboration and flexibility, this workplace brings together a range of spaces for working, meeting, socialising and informal interaction.
A warm and refined material palette, featuring natural stone, bespoke furniture, textured finishes and custom joinery, creates a welcoming environment that balances functionality with comfort. From communal lounges and meeting spaces to the concierge and central bar, each element was carefully considered to enhance the daily workplace experience.

We’re excited to share that the St John XXIII Catholic College Biomechanics & Gym Hub in Stanhope Gardens, NSW has been recognised at the 2026 LEA(D) Awards by the Association for Learning Environments Australasia, receiving the Category 7 Award for Small Projects Under $2 Million.
Designed in collaboration with Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese, the project brings together movement, wellbeing and learning within a compact, highly functional environment that supports both physical education and student engagement.

Set near the shores of Albert Park Lake, Melbourne Golf Park reimagines the former Albert Park Driving Range as a destination for golf, hospitality and events.
The project involved the demolition of the existing reception building, refurbishment of the driving range, and delivery of a new reception, café, retail and function space. A rooftop terrace, undercover bar and outdoor seating provide views across Albert Park Lake and the Melbourne CBD.
