1st Sunday of Lent and a Pancake Breakfast enjoyed by all! 💜🥞🙏

Today on Ash Wednesday, we begin Lent—a season to pause, reflect, and draw closer to God. May these 40 days lead us toward renewal, hope, and deeper faith.

Uniting Church in Australia President Rev Charissa Suli has today shared a Lenten invitation and prayer for the beginning of Lent. She says,

"We begin this season in a world that feels tense and fragile. There is violence across nations. There is division in public life. We have seen peaceful voices met with tension. We have witnessed how quickly trust can fracture, and how deeply communities can feel wounded. Many are carrying grief, anger and uncertainty – here in Australia and beyond.
Lent asks more of us than surface sacrifice. It asks us to go deeper."

Today we celebrated Transfiguration Sunday!
If you've had a mountain top experience, please share! 🏞️❤️🙏
( the phrase means a moment of transcendence – or epiphany; and in particular an experience of significant revelation given by God)
