We’re well known for four wheel drives, but we also deliver precision suspension work on street vehicles. This MX-5 received a full handling package with KONI Sport shocks, H and R lowering springs, and Whiteline adjustable sway bars for a clean lowered stance and improved cornering. We also completed a 79 Series with a full LEVELS 4200 GVM and GCM upgrade, plus a Formula 4x4 booster upgrade for stronger, more consistent braking under load. Our part of this classic build is officially wrapped up! We just finished giving this iconic '66 Mustang a complete, ground-up front and rear suspension overhaul, transforming how this pony car handles the road.
Here is a breakdown of what we accomplished:
• Front Suspension Rebuild: We completely stripped out the tired factory components and installed brand-new upper and lower control arms, fresh ball joints, upgraded steering linkages, and high-performance coil springs paired with heavy-duty shocks. Every component has been meticulously set up to ensure precision handling and rock-solid stability.
• Rear Suspension Rebuild: The rear end received the exact same premium treatment, getting completely refreshed to balance out the car's geometry, eliminate body roll, and ensure it plants the power smoothly.
With the entire suspension system fully modernised and refreshed, this Mustang is completely dialed in, structurally sorted, and ready for the next stages of its restoration journey.
