🧠💚 Acknowledging World Mental Health Day with Baby Sensory 💚🧠

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we take a moment to highlight the importance of mental well-being for everyone—parents, caregivers, and our little ones alike. Mental health is a vital part of our overall wellness, and it’s important to nurture it with care and compassion.

👶 In our Baby Sensory community, we understand that parenthood brings both joy and challenges. It’s okay to ask for support and take time for yourself. Your mental health matters, and caring for it allows you to be your best for your family.

💚 Let’s work together to break the stigma surrounding mental health, raise awareness, and create a supportive environment where everyone feels safe to share and seek help when needed. We encourage our Baby Sensory families to practise self-care, connect with others, and reach out for support.

🌿 On this World Mental Health Day, let’s promote kindness, understanding, and empathy. Together, we can build a nurturing community where both parents and children thrive mentally and emotionally. 🌟

🧠 Did you know that touch is one of your baby’s earliest sensory experiences and it plays an important role in the development of the brain? 🧠

Our Founder and leading parenting expert, Dr Lin Day, explains that "Massage, close physical contact (especially skin-to-skin), stimulates the production of oxytocin (known as the ‘love’ or bonding’ hormone), which makes your baby feel comfortable, warm, and safe" 💗
