I was going to start this post by apologising with a few tears …
But instead I won’t say “sorry” because we should never say “I’m sorry” I believe unless you have done something wrong and always never apologise for tears … they are healing and remove toxins from your body 🌱

I have been absent for some time on the Seeds platform .
This part of the year I sadly lost two nanas in the space of two months, a friend and I had to go through another death anniversary of my son Ted and what would have been his 11th birthday.
Plus I have battled a health issue that needed ongoing monitoring .
Safe to say finally I healed myself and am excited to be 💯 back 💪

I have taken time to gather myself in silence, turned the outside volume down and sat and played with my son … the simple things 🌻

What you don’t know about me is I had a beautiful micro bakery in 2019 after Teddie past away in 2018.
I learnt how to bake and move again through my grief and fell inlove with healing foods and soulful connections by creating 🍞

Sourdough is more than just bread to me, it’s my thread to Teddie who always sat on my kitchen bench.
In his death … Sourdough became my oxygen mask and my movement in darkness.

It has taken me 8 years to return to my kitchen… 8 years to open old recipe books that had pages stuck together from Ted’s sticky fingers. I’ve shed tears as I sat on the floor and read messages from my old insta account that was from all those lost years ago, when I was forced to close my business due to marriage breakdown and covid.

So….
In a very long post I wanted to say a huge Thankyou for all of the beautiful people I have met along the way with my seed.
I have chosen to reopen my micro bakery in Mount Evelyn and “keep going” but I also will be treating only Tues + Thurs moving forward .
I have chosen to not take on any new clients and the link in my bio is now inactive.

All apps are directly through me, but I will urge you to rebook upon leaving as other clients rebook and the demand for some time slots is huge.

HORMONAL HEARTBREAk that turned into a skin and life changing BREAKTHROUGH 💫

My beautiful client, only proved that showing up for herself in the treatment room and at home really can rewrite anyone’s skin story 📕

Since July last year, my client fell into a big skin rut.
Menstrual cycle and hormones were imbalanced and gut health had leaky proof of that. The result, grumpy, sore, congested & inflamed eruptions peaking from the most common culprit areas of the female face😭

Her skin was angry and nothing was working😭
Hormonal acne is like saying you have “IBS” sadly when seeking help from specialists.
A typical diagnosis that puts an umbrella over the most common skin issue, leaving a desperate and vulunrable human out of pocket, and turning to bandaid fixes (more drugs) or worse putting skin “fix its” that the internet or ChatGPT prescribes 😵‍💫 Ultimately leading to more distress, worse breakouts and lack of self love.

I met this gorgeous soul and I said come see me, I want to help you 💗

Since November, we stripped her skin diet back to pure basics.
And I mean removing inflammatory foods, introducing gut friendly foods, collagen, ofc water, less sugar, and I asked her to STOP using anything that she was currently using 🧯

She came in for 4 wkly personalised “Skin Rejuvenation + Led” facials that were custom suited to her. Along the way we would adjust, tweak some things, and after her skin started realising the new transition, it listened 👏

Change was the next phase, then healing from the inside out and then NEW skin was born💫

The key advice from me here is, YOU must be patient, but choose to prioritise ongoing treatments and take home advice/ skincare that is prescribed)!
AND continue to consistently show up everyday💪🏽

Sticking to routine everyday will rewrite any narrative that is NOT serving you well in life … be that anything I mean .
It’s a dance, but you have to take bits of everything you learn along the way to witness CHANGE💃
