Your jacket may be old but for others it’s shelter from the cold.

To help heat the homeless, we are collecting warm, clean and preferably waterproof winter jackets for men, women, and youth.

A golden rule: if you’d give it to a friend or family member, then it’s good enough to donate.

Donations are welcome at our Mount Eliza and Mount Martha offices up until the end of August.

In Australia there are over 122,000 people experiencing homelessness or marginally housed on any given night.

Realistically in Australia, most people experiencing homelessness are hidden from sight.

They could be sleeping in a car, couch surfing, tents or enduring the night on public transport. They may have shelter but no permanent place to make a home.

These are the “hidden homeless”

Whether recovering from an emergency event, or experiencing hardship due to circumstances such as drought, domestic and family violence, homelessness, disability, and mental health, members of our community are doing it tough and need our help.
