Today I travelled to Uenoshi, which is the historical home and birthplace of the Ninja, with my two boys. We visited the Ninja museum as well as the Ueno Castle.
And.....we found our next Kumon Centre, there have been quite a few in - between our last post, however wasn't able to take any photos.

I am currently visiting friends in Japan, the home of Kumon. There are numerous Kumon Centres throughout Japan, so I plan to document each one I encounter in various cities. How many do you think I will find?🎌

It's award time again at Kumon Ballarat, where we recognize our exceptional students who are currently working 6 months, 2 years, 3 years, and 5 years above their current grade level in Maths and/or English. We also acknowledge the outstanding achievement of one of our long-term students, Axel. Axel has been studying Kumon for over 5 years and is currently in Year 9. He has progressed exceptionally well through the entire Kumon Maths programme, which culminates at Year 12 Specialist Maths level. Axel has established a strong foundation and is able to solve complex equations without a calculator, which has enabled him to accelerate his Maths studies at school. In Year 8, he completed Year 10 Maths, and this year, in Year 9, he has completed Year 11 VCE Maths, making it possible for him to complete Units 3 & 4 next year. On the weekend, Axel was invited to Kumon Australia and New Zealand's completers Ceremony in Melbourne to receive his award. Fantastic achievement Axel, Kumon Ballarat is very proud of all your hard work 🏆🎉
