When preparing power outlets and light switches on an existing brick surface, our preference is to use a wall plate to house our cables.

We find this method has been reliable to keep points level at fit off while proving maintenance friendly when swapping out a GPO.

A tip for installing these wall plates is to spray paint your template around your project, marking multiple fixings points at once and run through the installation with a system.
