We are on the lookout for friendly, happy and motivated volunteers to join our Village family! 😄
Perhaps you have some practical skills you'd love to put to good use, enjoy working with your hands, have a passion for history, or simply love meeting people and having a chat. Whatever your strengths, we would love to hear from you!
We have all sorts of opportunities, from maintenance and general upkeep to administration and front of house, if that floats your boat.
Whether you can spare a few mornings a week or a little more time, we'd love to have a chat and find an area that suits you.
Police checks are required, and a Working with Children Check (WWCC) is preferred. Both can be arranged at no cost to you as a volunteer, just a little paperwork!
Interested? Give the Village a call on 08 8584 7194. We'd love to hear from you!

🚌 The Coomealla Club had a big group of 41 that also enjoyed a couple hours exploring our beautiful village, and then were heading to Historic Overland Corner Hotel for lunch.

Thinking of visiting the Loxton Historical Village? Why not make it Sunday, 11 October around lunchtime?
The Loxton Historical Village is proud to support organisations that make a real difference in our local community.
One of these is Gum Tree, an organisation that has been providing social and sporting activities for people in the Riverland with an intellectual disability for more than 40 years, an incredible contribution to our community.
On Sunday, 11 October, the LHV Treasurer, Trevor Noble, is hosting a Sausage Sizzle for the people of Gum Tree. If you’ve been considering a visit to the Village, why not make it that Sunday? You can enjoy all the usual things the Village has to offer, wander through our historic displays and buildings, and while you’re here, purchase a sausage for $3.00 and support this wonderful local organisation.
It’s a lovely way to enjoy a day at the Village while supporting a group that has given so much to the Riverland community. 🌭
