We are so excited to introduce Nat, our Senior Occupational Therapist, who brings 15 years of experience working with children and families across a wide range of developmental needs.

Nat is passionate about partnering with families to understand each child’s unique strengths, differences and everyday experiences. Her warm, collaborative approach empowers parents with practical strategies that can make a meaningful difference at home, at school and in the community.

At SMART Spot, Nat will be offering our Assessment & Family Guidance Model.

This evidence-informed model is designed to provide families with:

🌿 Three family guidance sessions focused on coaching, problem-solving and implementing strategies that fit into everyday life

Our RTI Series is built for clinicians who want their work to actually translate beyond the therapy room.

Because the reality is, even the best recommendations fall flat if they don’t fit the classroom.

So we’re shifting the lens.

This series is about:

• Building real partnerships with teachers (not just reports sent home)
• Designing strategies that are low load, high impact, and sustainable
• Aligning therapy with the actual demands of the curriculum and school day

Clinical Excellence this afternoon!

Mary led some of our team through a focused session on Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) unpacking what it is, how it presents, and the nuance required to identify it well.

We also deepened our skills in ReST therapy (Rapid Syllable Transition Treatment) as an evidence-based approach for children with CAS.
