Composite creativity, from every angle.

We recently completed this project for Neil and his family in Jerrabomberra using our go-to 138mm Futurewood board in Light oak.

This project encompasses compound angles in every direction, adding seamless character and depth without compromising the backyards functionality.

Composite decking is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a maintenance free solution to your outdoor area that you can enjoy year round. With a picture frame perimeter board and heat folded external corners, this deck is an elegant as they come.

Redefined outdoor living, with no maintenance.

This beautiful space in Bruce encompasses huge 185mm composite decking boards and a powder coated aluminium subframe from Futurewood

Hassle free year round from on going maintenance and up keep, this is a space the entire family can enjoy for years to come.

We opted for a powder coated aluminium subframe due to minimal ground clearance and constant salt water exposure from the near by pool.

To future proof this project we used 316 stainless fixing over the entire job, we also had the entire subframe earthed from the guys Gold Electrical Innovations as a preventative measure, paired with non-conductive pool spigots and frameless glass pool fence by Jonno’s Glass

Thank you to all our wonderful clients, builders and suppliers for the ongoing trust and support through-out the year.

We are truly grateful to have a lead time in excess of three months, especially in the current economy.

We believe our clients deserve the upmost attentiveness on all projects big and small, to ensure this remains at the forefront of our relationships we will be taking future bookings from February 2027.

Warm Regards,
Ethan - EF Building

Florey ensuite- Where contrast meets elegance.

A true testimonial that classic colours still leave a lasting impression, a perfect balance of modern day minimalism mixed with staple colour palettes.

When renovating a bathroom, avoid current fads is paramount to ensuring the space is as visually pleasing in 10 years time as it was when handed over.

This is a true testimonial of how important it is to set out materials with your tiler before construction commences, the necessity of full tiles on each wall seamlessly finishing with niche boxes speaks for itself.

A satisfied client is just as important to us as delivering a high quality product.

We understand that renovations within the family home require a different level of pre requisites, trust and communication being at the forefront.

Your family home is a safe, quiet and sometimes chaotic environment. Welcoming a complete stranger in to start pulling things apart is not something we take lightly, a great level of attentiveness and respect in an essential part of our process throughout our renovations.

We first completed a 25m' composite deck for Craig back in 2022, please take a minute to listen to Craig's kind words.

Where feature meets functionality.

What was once a plain dining room wall is now a bold feature wall doubling as a hidden entry to the home’s master suite.
Incorporating a 2400 pivot door to remove any highlighted joins and fixings, this door is just about as discrete as it gets.

What’s lurking beneath your decking boards?

Your deck might look great from above, but for how long?

If your deck is less than 400mm off the finished ground hight or in direct contact of water and you aren’t using a H4 F7 primed pine or aluminium subframe then your deck is set to fail.

Standard H3 (yellow/brown) timber might be a cheaper alternative initially but it’s going to cost you more in the long run. H4 F7 primed pine is specifically engineered and designed to resist water ingress, fungal decay and insect activity with 50 year limited warranty you will never have to worry about doing your deck again.

Coupled with the primed pine or H3 for decks above 400mm, is a non negotiable for us. This self adhesive tape completely seals the top of your joist and bearers, ensuring that any water or moisture does not seep into your timber membrane, ultimately leading to a failed subframe. Cheap alternatives such as bitumen paint and rubber membranes are sure to cut years off the life of your deck.

So if you are looking at building a deck in the foreseeable future, remember that the cheapest quote is also likey the most expensive. Build it once and build it right with EFB.

Light oak elegance from .au as always.

In our opinion the best entry/mid level composite board on the market. Consistently manufactured, enormous colour and the best sales rep we could ask for, Louis goes above and beyond every time.

Thanks for getting us in on this one.
