A Ballarat Croquet group Croquet is a great sport. It's the closest thing to snooker on grass. Some people liken it to chess as well.
Either way, if you like the feel of hitting a ball through a hoop, then you'll love croquet!
Ballarat Alexander Croquet Club has decided not to continue with Facebook. Thankyou to all the supporters who followed this page and made it a success. Maybe sometime in the future it will return.

The Ballarat/ Geelong challenge played on Monday 7th February at Ballarat Alexander Croquet Club. Geelong won the challenge. A great day had by all with a wonderful afternoon tea after play. Thanks to Kerry Anne Jones for referring and the catering committee for the afternoon tea. Denie Etherson (BDCA President) presented trophy to Geelong.

The Ballarat Doubles Handicapped Tournament was held on Sunday 14th November. Section 1 Winners Wolfgang and Jane Klemenz (Belmont). Runner up Darren Lester(Ararat) and Denie Etherson (Ballarat Western). Section 2 Winners Bill Caddye and Graham Smith(Kyneton). Runner ups: Gary Daley and George Train( Drysdale) A big thankyou toTournament manager Brian Reither and referees Mary Windsor and Kerry Anne Jones . Everyone enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea after battling in the wet cold weather..
