Slowly we are seeing less and less Pet stores. Although unfortunately some naive people do still purchase animals from Pet stores and breeders. Please encourage your friends and family to understand the importance of not supporting these industries. There are so many shelters and pet rescues that would appreciated less animals coming in and unfortunately they are the reason our shelters are over run. Please share this post with as many friends and family. Hey there Melbourne Central and Box Hill Central, you’ve both had obviously unwell cats inside your shopping centres this week. When are you going to catch up with community expectations and change your policy on pet stores selling animals in the centre? There are plenty thriving by selling products – not dealing in cruelty.

A reminder to all of our supporters – pet shops that sell animals do not care for their welfare. They are directly supporting factory farming of our companion animals. Buying them is not the answer, it simply perpetuates the cycle. Vote with your dollar and your feet so that we can end this for good. Please share!

How to Pick Up a Rabbit that Hates it Being picked up is not a natural experience for a rabbit. Unlike many animal parents, such as cats and dogs, rabbit mothers don't pick up their kits and carry them around. The only time a rabbit would experience this type of movement is if a predator attacks them!
