R U OK? Day is all about starting meaningful conversations and checking in on those around us to support anyone who might be struggling. A simple question can make a huge difference! 💛

The Year 12 VCE VM class has planned a lunchtime full of fun activities and prizes to be won to help spread the word of R U OK? DAY.

Come over to Tullow Grass during lunchtime on Thursday 10 September, to get involved:

Activities: Footy competitions, chalk drawing, guess the lolly jar, and a photobooth with prizes up for grabs!
Food: Sausage sizzle ($2.50), donuts ($2.00), and fairy floss ($3.00).
Special Guest: Meet Spark the therapy dog 🐶!

Don't forget to wear a splash of yellow or represent your Favorite footy/sporting team colours! See you there! 🙌✨

💙 Thank you for celebrating 70 Years with us! 💙

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our 70th Anniversary Dinner on Friday evening.

It was a wonderful night of celebration, connection and reflection as we came together as a community to honour 70 incredible years of our school’s history. From past students and staff to current families, friends and supporters, it was so special to have so many people who have been part of our story in the room.

Thank you for helping us celebrate this incredible milestone and for being part of our community. Happy 70 Years! 🎉

WEAR IT PURPLE DAY//
Each year Clonard College recognises Wear it Purple Day as a time to stand together against discrimination of anyone, particularly in relation to the LGBTIQA+ community. We know that we have a community of strong and respectful young people who will support each other and stand against discrimination in all its forms.

70TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER//
On Friday evening, we will proudly celebrate our 70th anniversary, with more than 150 members of our community gathering to mark this wonderful milestone.

We look forward to coming together, reflecting on our journey and celebrating this special occasion with our community.

Clonard would like to formally thank the generosity of the Catholic Development Fund, who have kindly sponsored our upcoming 70th Anniversary Celebration Dinner. The CDF is a wonderful partner to our College, providing our banking and loan facilities.

BOOK WEEK//
It's Book Week! Whether you're discovering a new favourite book or showing off your creative costume, there's something for everyone to enjoy. We can't wait to celebrate the joy of reading together.

The Students have already enjoyed some craft out in the sunshine during our first craft activities.

Costume parade. Gather in front of Clonard House. Prizes for best costumes.

Please be aware that Friday 21 August is a Student Free Day. We hope students enjoy their Friday!

SCIENCE WEEK//
In celebration of Science Week, the students are running a number of events for everyone to get involved! Tuesday 18 August, they ran the annual Blind Taste Testing. Our brave volunteers were blindfolded and then treated to a range of foods, which they had to identify for points.

Everyone had a lot of fun, and it was great to see everyone come together. Stay tuned for Egg Decorating and Egg Dropping later in the week.
