Aquastar Swim Schools are proud to be Diamond Donors for St Michael's Grammar School’s Giving Day (06 August 2026). Funds from the day will go towards supporting the Terry Bux Scholarship.
For those of you that don’t know, Terry was the school's much-loved Crossing Supervisor for 33 years. He was a living guardian angel 😇 and thanks to this scholarship will never be forgotten. ❤️

Today is World Drowning Prevention Day, and we are uniting to turn the tide on drowning.
Drowning doesn’t have a single cause or a single solution. But it can be prevented.
Here’s how we can work together to prevent drowning:

❌ Avoid alcohol and drugs around water

We are so unbelievably proud of every single one of our swimmers from across all our pools who participated in last weekend's 2026 Mid-Year Squad Meet. From smashing personal bests to cheering each other on from the pool deck, the energy, hard work, and sportsmanship were next level. Watching all that dedication in training pay off in the lanes is the absolute best reward. 🏆💦

To the mums who pack the goggles, cheer from the sidelines, and manage the post-swim showers... and to the mums who watched their little ones grow from splashing toddlers into the mentors in the water, still offering a proud smile as their 'child' teaches the next generation to swim... Happy Mother's Day Aquastar mums!
And that's a wrap. Final figures are in and we were able to donate a massive $5,750 to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal! Thank you to all who donated and participated.
