💚 COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE! 💚
On Friday, 2 October, the lawns of Gunabul Homestead came alive with connection, conversation and community spirit as we hosted our Mental Health Community Day in recognition of Mental Health Week.
With around 20 stallholders joining us on the day, it was fantastic to see so many local organisations, mental health and wellbeing providers, community groups and passionate individuals coming together to share information, raise awareness and help make support more accessible to everyone.
🎥 In this video, Sean catches up with Justin from Weeroona Association Inc.Association Inc., a valued Gympie community organisation supporting people with disability and their families.
Weeroona provides personalised disability support, support coordination and inclusive activities that help people build independence, develop skills, form friendships and participate more fully in their community. Their focus on quality, respect and inclusion makes them an important part of our local support network.
Find out more about Weeroona and the services they offer:

A huge thank you to Justin, Weeroona and all the stallholders, community organisations, entertainers and supporters who helped make our Mental Health Community Day such a meaningful occasion.
At Gunabul Homestead, we believe that bringing people together, starting conversations and connecting people with the right support can make a real difference.
💚 Because a stronger community starts with connection.
