First held in 1910, the first day of spring has marked a celebration Australia's national floral emblem, the golden wattle.

We're hosting a free community event to come together and celebrate the wattle, our community, and unique native flora we are lucky to have right here in Banyule 🌿

Enjoy live music, morning tea, and the first 50 attendees to register will receive their very own wattle plant!

The event also marks the first day of Spring Outdoors Festival and National Biodiversity Month, which you will hear all about at the morning tea.

Join us for Minu's Dream, a new work-in-progress shadow puppetry theatre performance by Moon Shadow Studio. The story follows Minu, a busy mother fish, and her child, Jam, who live in a bustling ocean. This gentle work reflects universal human experiences and invites meaningful intergenerational conversations about love and loss.
