Hello, Gold Coast!! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Wow, what a wild last 48hrs!!! 🌪️🫣 We are one of the lucky households who have come through unscathed 🙏🏻. Power is now back on, so I’m running around doing what I can, just in case the power goes out again with the heavy rain that is supposedly yet to come! 🌧️ Hence, my homemade butter!!! Ta-dahhh!!! 🧈 No butter left in the fridge, no butter or cream at the supermarket, BUT… there’s long-life whipping cream in the baking isle!!!! Never made it before. Wasn’t sure if it was going to work, but it did and it tastes delicious! And now making pancakes with the leftover buttermilk! 🥞 In times like these, you need to think out the box! Stay safe, everyone.
