We were thrilled this week to welcome Monash Councillor (Jells Ward) and Deputy Mayor Elisha Lee to our club, following the announcement of a lighting upgrade at the club. If all things go to plan, we can expect new LED lighting on all courts around October this year.

The installation should have minimal impact on access to the courts for competition, social play and coaching, as the new lights will be installed external to club fences.

We originally sought funding for lights on courts 5 and 6 back in 2017. Whilst it's been a long wait, we are getting a better outcome - LED lighting has really advanced, and with the addition of a book-a-court system we are anticipating extra revenue from court hire to assist with running the club and maintaining the courts, which are in excellent condition.

We really want to thank all club members and supporters, especially everyone who has helped at working bees, fundraising BBQ's and of course current and former committee members. Without your support the club would not have had the funds to be able to financially contribute to the project. Keep up your memberships - great improvements to our facilities are not far away.
