Meet Geelong

As Associations Forum’s 2026 National Conference came to life at Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre Geelong Convention and Event Centre, Moreton Hire transformed an empty exhibition hall into a vibrant showcase for more than 50 exhibitors - creating the first major exhibition ever held at the venue. The milestone represents more than just stand construction. It highlights the strength of Moreton Hire’s long-standing partnership with Association Forum and their confidence in Geelong and The Bellarine as an emerging destination for major business events. Here is look behind the scenes at the transformation.

We wrapped up the Mega Famil at Lancemore Weddings & Events Werribee Park. Here guests enjoyed a high tea breakfast in the Pavillion overlooking the polo fields before a site inspection of this unique venue. From there our Famil came to an end and it was time to head home after an incredible three days showcasing Geelong and The Bellarine. We wrapped up day two of the Mega Famil at Deakin University Geelong Waterfronts Campus. Guests explored this unique waterfront venue before enjoying a three-course dinner paired with Clyde Park Vineyard and live music by Bay City Events . A memorable evening of great food, local wine and even better conversation - the perfect way to conclude another incredible day showcasing Geelong’s business events offering.

Our afternoon at Novotel Geelong was the perfect blend of future vision and unforgettable experiences. Guests discovered the hotels exciting redevelopment plans before stepping into a Cocktail Masterclass, complete with a delicious cheese spread and stunning views across Corio Bay. A memorable way to showcase what’s to come for one of Geelong’s leading business events venues.

Day two of the Meet Geelong and The Bellarine Mega Famil continued with a visit to , where guests explored the hotel and conference spaces, took in sweeping views from Skyline Bar over Corio Bay, and enjoyed a hands-on pizza making experience which became a part of a shared lunch. We then gained exclusive access to the soon-to-open Geelong Convention and Event Centre, offering a first look at this world-class waterfront venue set to transform the future of business events in our region. A day of incredible spaces, experiences and future-focused venues.

Day two of the Mega Famil began with a focus on wellness, connection and unique experiences. Guests started the morning at with a site tour and stretching session led by before heading to to discover this stunning heritage venue. The morning concluded with a hands on wine-blending experience, where guests put their winemaking skills to the test to create the ultimate blend.

The afternoon on The Bellarine delivered an unforgettable series of experiences for our Mega Famil guests. From gin tasting by the fire at the , to a relaxed cider and high cheese experience at , the day showcased the regions exceptional produce and hospitality. We finished the afternoon at the iconic , where guests enjoyed a site tour of this dynamic venue, followed by a stunning live performance by . A perfect close to an inspiring day in our region.
