McClelland College

Today we hosted ‘This is IT’, a charitable organisation supporting schools across our network.

We had members of the local council and the Frankston Mayor in attendance and are thankful for the ongoing support provided to our students.

This is IT have provided 300 laptops to schools within our network, including 80 laptops direct to McClelland College!

We are so grateful for their support and keeping our students linked in with devices.

Congratulations to Ryan Mills who was recognised at the Premier’s VCE Awards, receiving the award for achieving the highest result in Victoria for VCE Vocational Major, an extraordinary accomplishment and a testament to his hard work, dedication and commitment.

Ryan’s success is an inspiration to our entire school community and highlights the excellence that can be achieved through Applied Learning pathways.

TERM THREE @ MCCLELLAND COLLEGE.

Keep your eyes on our social stories each Sunday night to see what’s coming up at McClelland. It is a big term with Course Counselling and Subject Selection occurring as we prepare for 2027!

We have a student free day (Staff Curriculum Day) on Friday July 24th and Parent Teacher Interviews on Thursday September 3rd.

What an action packed Term 3 we have ahead.

On Thursday 21 May, Year 12 students showcased their industry knowledge and passions through an engaging display in the PAC.

Students from all year levels had the opportunity to interact with the exhibits, speak with senior students, and gain insight into a variety of career pathways. It was a fantastic way to share learning, build confidence, and inspire others to explore different industries.

Big stories with a dash of vulnerability as year 8s explored confidence, friendships, self-esteem, trust and what it means to look out for each other. An amazing day made possible with the support of The Man Cave, Salvation Army Frankston, Frankston Youth Services and McClelland’s fabulous Wellbeing team.

What an amazing opportunity!

On Monday the 30th of March, 15 year 8 and 9 students travelled to the city to participate in a leadership course at the EY building. They were mentored by industry leaders and had a fantastic day learning from them and each other.

We are so proud of the engagement the students had a the positive attitudes they are showed.

Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday 28th April from 11am to 7pm. There will be nos scheduled classes this day for students and parents/carers have the opportunity to book interviews both online or in person.
