Premier Fresh Australia

A rewarding day recently for the Premier Fresh Australia team, volunteering at one of Foodbank’s distribution centres.

Together, the team helped produce an incredible 13,000 meals for people in need, while also sorting and packing fresh fruit for distribution through community food relief programs.

A big thank you to Foodbank Victoria for the incredible work they do every day. Proud to be partners and play a part in supporting such an important cause! 💜

Cosy up this winter with a bowl of Pumpkin Soup made using Mighty Pumpkins – Butternut Blaze

Ingredients:
• 1 Butternut Pumpkin, peeled and diced
• 1 brown onion, diced
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 3 cups vegetable stock
• 1 cup cooking cream
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Fresh herbs or chilli flakes, to garnish

Method:
• Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant.

• Add diced pumpkin and stir for 2–3 minutes. Pour in vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until pumpkin is tender.

• Blend until smooth using a stick blender or food processor. Stir through cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.

• Serve warm with crusty bread and garnish with fresh herbs or chilli flakes.
