St Joseph’s College is a Catholic boys’ secondary school which operates in the tradition of Don Bosco St Joseph’s is a Catholic boys College.
Founded in 1965, next year we will be celebrating a 50 year tradition of transforming boys into exceptional young men. Today we have a student population of approximately 1000 boys from Years 7-12. Each year for over 25 years, St Joseph’s College visits Kiribati as part of our social action program. A group of Year 11 students, four staff and our two Kiribati students spend two weeks interacting with our friends in Kiribati. Last week Year 12 Physical Education students worked on plyometrics ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Plyometrics, often called “jump training,” are explosive exercises where muscles exert maximum force in short intervals. This training relies on the stretch-shortening cycle (SSC), allowing muscles to store elastic energy and release it rapidly.
