Proud efforts across Melbourne this July include:
🔴 An exciting birds eye view, a landscape log delivery and a perfect concrete path built at Katalia Reserve.

🔴 Nursery inspections for plant install at Edgars Creek Reserve, along with vast mulch distribution.

🔴 Extensive earthworks at Aurora Neighbourhood Park.

🔴 Our Pakenham team delivered fresh Tuscan topping for our Whitehorse City Council park project, along with maintenance works across the Cardinia Shire Council.

🔴 Meticulous ground work completed at Fairfield Park Playground.

Welcome to the family, BUSHWORX! 🌱

We’re thrilled to announce that UDL Group have acquired ‘Bushworx’ - a bushland restoration business based in Redland Bay, Queensland.

That’s a brilliant team of 8 joining us, with two revegetation contracts partnered with councils south of Brisbane - and a whole lot of expertise in bringing native landscapes back to life! 🌿

It’s an exciting step in our Queensland journey and one we’re genuinely proud of.

🌳 PLANTING & EARTHWORK SUCCESS!
📍 Parkbrook Estate, Wyndham Vale, VIC
🪏 Stage 8 & 9 Streetscapes

Our construction team lead by our Senior Site Foreman Harley and subcontractors , , and Yaringa Excavations have dedicated a great amount of time to ensure our Parkbrook project is in tip top shape!

Over the past 2 months this site has gone from a bare foundation to an established green entryway, forming a welcoming well presented corridor into the new estate.

Successfully completed works include:
✔️ Removal of w**d and rock piles
✔️ Earthworks and shaping the conservation buffer
✔️ Amelioration and cultivation of compost and site soil
✔️ Shaping and grading
✔️ Mulching and turf installation
✔️ Jute mat install and planting

🌟 IT’S JUTE WEEK!
📍 Edgars Creek Reserve, Epping, VIC

🚀 768 rolls of jute matting were set out in just 23 days! That’s 34,285m² so far, and we’re counting!

Our jute mat will provide great erosion control and moisture retention for the plants that will soon be installed directly into it!

All of this is thanks to our dedicated UDL Group construction team and loyal contractors at Dirtcon and Dirty Planting.

Lead by our Environmental Site Foreman Harley, the quarry lake-exclusion fence and water salinity testing were also successfully completed.

This week we focus on:

🟢 W**d management
🟢 Nursery inspections in prep for installation

💚 Keeping Hume City Council Green! 🌿

Our turf crews have been busy this week maintaining parks and roadsides across the Hume area, as you can see in our before and after snaps! 📷

Areas serviced include:
✅ The Bridges Recreation Reserve - Craigieburn
✅ Aitken Creek North - Craigieburn
✅ Mt Aitken Reserve - Greenvale
✅ Aitken Blvd - Craigieburn/Roxburgh Park
✅ Pascoe Vale Rd - Coolaroo/Broadmeadows

🛝Westwood Place Local Park
📍Fraser Rise, VIC

Great progress at Westwood Place this week including:
✅ Zig zag footpath concrete poured
✅ Shelter installation underway
✅ Steel bollards installed at the rear of the bball court
✅ Timber bollard installation commenced
✅ Removable bollard sleeves concreted in
✅ All play equipment installed
✅ Backfilling around footpaths completed

The park is really taking shape and exciting times are ahead for the Westwood Place community! 🏀🧺🌳

🌿 Allegra Reserve is Flourishing 🌿
📍Leopold, VIC

Delivered for our clients Land EQ in partnership with Landscape Architects Mexted Zimmer, Allegra Reserve (Stage 1) in Leopold has transitioned seamlessly from construction to maintenance following a successful handover.

Our maintenance teams are now doing an excellent job ensuring the reserve remains green, healthy, and thriving!

Project highlights include:
🌱 Installation of over 1,700m² of turf surrounding the surface drainage pond.
🐦 Creation of a surface drainage pond which also supports local wildlife.
🍃 Jute mat planting with tree guards to stabilise and secure the pond edges.
🪵 Installation of 66 timber bollards for the fencing, finished in bitumen and set with crushed rock and toppings to enclose and protect the area.

A great result all around!
