🇫🇷🐉 Well, that’s a wrap for 'Zed & Jay' in France! 🇦🇺✈️

After an incredible week at the 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival, our much-loved 'Zed & Jay' paddles are homeward bound!

They’ve paddled, travelled, represented the DamBusters and enjoyed one amazing French adventure — and now they’re heading back to Australia in the very capable hands of our wonderful President, Sue Mason. 💗💙

Safe travels, Sue and our trusty Zed & Jay! ✈️ We’ll see you all back on Aussie soil very soon.

Z&J certainly enjoyed their French adventure at the 2026 IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival!

DAM Busters are incredibly grateful to have our amazing paddles, so generously donated by Z&J Sport, along for the journey.

Lightweight, comfortable and with a smooth, non-slip grip, they were an absolute pleasure to paddle with and certainly got a great workout on the waters of Aix-les-Bains!

A huge thank you to Z&J Sport for arming the DAM Busters with such fantastic paddles. We loved using them and were very proud to have them with us in France.

Day 1 of the 2026 IBCPC Festival—and what an incredible start!

Our F2 Breast Cancer Survivors and S1 Supporters teams both won their heats, showcasing the strength, determination, and teamwork that bring us together. We’re deeply grateful to stand alongside an inspiring global breast cancer community, united by resilience, friendship, and hope.

We also took part in the beautiful Petals on Water ceremony, a moving tribute to those affected by breast cancer and a powerful reminder of the strength and support within our community. The Metastasis Ceremony was a first and was deeply meaningful moment, bringing us together in reflection, remembrance, and solidarity.

It was also a special time to reflect on our beautiful and deeply missed Teresa Doria. We were thinking of you, lovely lady, and missing you terribly.

Thanks for the memories Teresa and team.

What an experience!

Thousands of paddlers from around the world coming together to celebrate friendship, strength and dragon boating.

It was HOT… but nothing was going to dampen the Dammies’ spirits!

Feeling incredibly lucky and proud to be part of such an amazing international celebration.

First day paddling in Aix-les-Bains!

DAM Busters and Côte-à-Côte joined forces for our first training session — lots of fun with an amazing bunch of women!

Z&J started the day with some delicious organic peaches, followed by a pool training session.

And WOW… it was HOT!

What a great start to the festival!

As our France contingent set off for the IBCPC Regatta in France, all of our paddlers back in Melbourne wish them the best experience ever.

These stunning paddles were so generously donated by Z&J Sport, and we feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to be taking them with us on this very special journey.

The festivities kick off at 1pm, and we have a fantastic lineup planned to make the day memorable.
