Holy Cross Tuckerbox

A huge heartfelt thank you to The Nappy Collective for their generous donation of nappies, these will be passed on to families in need over the coming months.

Holy Cross Tuckerbox will be open on ANZAC Day.

We remember and honour all those who have served and still serve.

Last Saturday we quietly celebrated 15 years of Holy Cross Tuckerbox!
Don and I were here at the beginning for the official opening on 9th April, 2011, and are still here. 😁
Tuckerbox has been blessed with the most wonderful and dedicated volunteers over the years. We could not have achieved all we have done if not for our volunteers and the wider community.
Thank you for all your support - in the past, the present and for the future.

Yes, we are open this (Holy) Saturday!

What a glorious Maundy Thursday! Volunteers are busy sorting and waiting for the Foodbank delivery.
The first delivery of feminine hygiene products came today from Share the Dignity. I am enjoying the sun on my back as I sort it. 😊

White Elephant will have a half price sale. Please note, not everything will be on sale.

Maggie's Cafe will be open. 😁 Look out for scrummy hot cross buns!

Wishing you a blessed and safe Easter season.
Kirsty

Behind every list, every clipboard, every exchange like this, there’s a relationship forming. At Tuckerbox, help doesn’t begin with boxes or bags. It begins with learning names, noticing stories, and taking the time to listen. Because when people are known, not just assisted, something shifts — trust grows, shame softens, and care becomes mutual rather than transactional. This is the quiet work of community: face-to-face, week by week, person by person. #Tuckerbox #CommunityCare #SeeingPeople #LocalCare #FoodRelief #Belonging #KindnessInAction #HumanStories

A massive thank you to Harrison School & Linda Kwong for their donation of beautiful, fresh, juicy sugar plums. Our members are going to love them!
